CHALLENGE
YoPrint is a SaaS platform used by 350+ print shop businesses to manage orders, invoices, and shipments in one place. The original portal felt like an internal admin tool, not a customer-facing product. Information was dense and undifferentiated across every screen: data stacked without grouping, key actions buried among secondary details, and status indicators that varied from page to page. Customers had trouble knowing what to do next, whether on the dashboard, an order, an invoice, or a shipment.
APPROACH
Audit & IA. Reviewed the existing portal screen by screen, gathered feedback through the CEO who was in direct contact with print shop customers, then structured the information architecture around core customer tasks: orders, invoices, shipments, and approvals.
User flows. Mapped the end-to-end journey per task: order placement → artwork approval → invoice review → payment → shipment tracking. Every flow tied back to a clear next action.
UX system. Consistent status logic across every screen: unified status pills, one action-required pattern, and predictable placement for primary CTAs regardless of context.
UI design. Built the full interface in Figma, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity screens and a mobile version, all under one component system built together with the hi-fi screens.
HIGHLIGHT
7 core customer flows redesigned: Dashboard, Sales Order, Invoice, Shipment, Artwork Approval, Message, Payment
1 unified design system, later extended into YoPrint's Admin Dashboard Portal
Desktop + Mobile coverage for the full portal experience

RESULT
The redesigned portal is live in YoPrint's product today. According to the CEO, the new interface reduced flow confusion and made it clearer for customers to identify what needed their attention. The engagement continued into a full redesign of YoPrint's Admin Dashboard Portal, built on the same design system.
